Comment on: R/worldnews removes top comment thread on egypt coptica being murdered because it doesn't fit with their agenda
my impression is that ceddit crawls reddit in cycles and a very quick moderator can kill a comment before ceddits crawler has a chance to see it. this happens frequently in, for instance, the jailbreak sub since piracy isnt allowed, there the fastest mod is a bot that scans new comments for certain strings. if the auto bot catches you theres 99% chance the ceddit crawler wont catch it in time, but a fast human mod can have this effect as well. i imagine the best workaround would be to continually refresh a ceddit page of a reddit that gets hit with heavy moderation making the crawler no longer a factor. of course this kind of counter-censorship would need to be set up on a per post basis
