I think it is bullshit no matter what side uses it.

Reddit voting bots aren't that difficult to code (or buy for that matter). It isn't so much a pissing of money than a pissing match of people willing to do it "for the cause" on either side of the aisle. And I totally agree that there are bots being used by all sides here.

I initially replied you you when you said this > Why would conservatives pay for bots to support a candidate they don't like who already won? Sometimes the easy answers are the right ones. And now you are saying this > I guess to clarify my point I mean that honestly I think everyone is using bots. So I guess I've made my point. Oh, and I'd agree with you on the banning of TD from the front page. It was the abuse of the sticky post mechanism to push a single sub's ideology onto /r/all that got them banned.

So if I understand you correctly, you are saying you acknowledge there is some sketchy vote:comment stuff going on in T_D, but you won't acknowledge that there is bot involvement because maybe the "other side" is using bots? And I completely agree with you that there was a reason the donald got banned from the front page. *That* isn't just chalked up to bots, but other reasons.

Within the last week. It is obvious that bots are used for upvotes. [5,756 points \(92% upvoted\), 16 comments](https://www.reddit.com/r/The_Donald/comments/69la7r/spicy_new_ben_garrison_the_welcome_mat_macron/) [5,138 points \(91% upvoted\), 29 comments](https://www.reddit.com/r/The_Donald/comments/6a8jmr/comey_is_out/) [5,955 points \(91% upvoted\), 29 comments](https://www.reddit.com/r/The_Donald/comments/69nypj/breitbart_newshouse_to_probe_whether_obama/)

Why do posts on T_D have 5 thousand upvotes and 12 comments?
