We feel your pain, but there's nothing you can do. Most of us have had that happen. Reddit administration won't do anything about this; they never enforce the rule about banning users based on their participations in other subs. Also, what do you mean you reported the whole sub? How does one do that?

The comment can easily be interpreted as inciting violence, which is against Reddit sitewide ToS. The surprising part is that they actually banned you for it...usually comments like that in that sub, especially when directed at Trump, are ignored. Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with most forms of censorship either, but in this case I don't totally deny that it was justified.

I'm constantly confused by ActualPublicFreakouts because when I go there and read comments, they're usually pretty sane. They'll call out hypocrisy when it comes to ideas like this. Yet I keep seeing these posts where people say they get banned for speaking up. So I don't really know how to read that sub anymore.
