Comment on: Preemptive censorship for participation in a comedy sub
What is /r/milliondollarextreme? I had a look, but I'm more confused than before.

Comment on: r/news mods go full authoritarian, delete entire top upvoted comment thread that goes against the narrative
The banning of /r/uncensorednews was the first time I started to believe Reddit was actually trying to shape and steer conversations in a very specific direction. Don’t get me wrong - that place had its share of racist morons, but that wasn’t really any different than countless other subs. What made that one stand out (at least to me) was that it had a growing base of people who weren’t racist, weren’t fanatical, weren’t even right wing - having logical, unbiased, well-thought-out discussions that weren’t inline with the idea that we need to be ultra-PC at all times, at all costs, no matter how serious the issue. I think Reddit’s owners showed their true colours on that one, and decided some discussions were just too uncomfortable to have here - and that they’ll stomp out those communities before they get established.

Comment on: Reddit is Censoring R/Politics - Makes R-Politice a Left Wing Hellhole
As a non-American hoping to hear from both sides I’m a bit disappointed in Reddit. That being said - *all American discussion* boards seem to be that way. There is no right-leaning equivalent to Reddit. I know there’s a lot pointless comments here that do nothing but sling insults or toe the party line, but the majority of them are actual on-topic, logical, calm discussions. I have never found a right-leaning board that is like that. Just look at the comments from this article on uncensored news today: https://www.reddit.com/r/uncensorednews/comments/7rriru/3_arrested_for_raping_man_pouring_bleach_onto_his/ It’s basically a bunch of people calling blacks niggers, then getting upvoted because of it. That’s a pretty good representation of what all the pro-Republican boards devolve into that I have come across. I honestly don’t know if this is an indication of who the Republican base is, I just haven’t found the right site, or if it means the intellectual Republicans have abandoned the internet out of frustration - but either way it seems the Republican base has lost the war for the internet. The democrats seem to dominate all corners of it.

Comment on: Picture of a man and his daughter who his ex hid from him for two years. Many comments speaking about the inherent men's rights issues that the situation highlights are removed. Guess the /r/pics mods are ok with children being kidnapped and women getting a pass for this behavior?
We really need to come up with a better system than removeddit.com. It seems to have a success rate of <10% for actually showing you removed comments - normally it’s just a bunch of errors or doesn’t load at all...

Comment on: /r/worldnews nukes thread on Swedish festival closing down after string of sexual assaults by "young foreign men", 1 out of 3 comments removed
This article says nothing about "foreign men" - is there another one? http://www.cbc.ca/news/entertainment/bravalla-fest-cancels-2018-event-1.4187520 Never mind - found it: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/07/04/swedish-music-festivals-hit-by-reports-of-rapes-by-migrants/
