But you take that rally and move it elsewhere that's why there are issues and bans in other subs. T_D is often just as guilty, for example after the election on r/iamverysmart there was a post. It was a picture of Hillary saying too she was too smart to lose. This post made it to the top of the sub without even being the right format (supposed to be the person claiming to be smart themselves) and all the top comments were from T_D users who had no post history in that sub but managed to comment on that post near its creation. The bots and brigading go both ways I think Reddit just got tired of the rowdier one

Tbh I am missing the point because I don't see the point of trying to get to the top. T_D also bans users with dissenting opinions so it's really not to debate their topics with the rest of Reddit. If the sub was just trying to reach the top for the purpose of what often felt like spamming Reddit then it should be harder to push its content up.

It's not but just like every other sub that gets caught brigading they ignored the penalties. I've seen the brigading in some of my favorite subs and got dms from the T_D users for speaking out. Other subs just usually listen to the rules and stop while T_D decided to rant and fight back. It's not censorship T_D is still open to post whatever they like to themselves and push it to :all if that's the goal.

No the rest of Reddit will just keep downvoting the spam. Maybe if every post didn't show in /all in all caps. It was annoying and childish , compare it to the rest of the political subs even r/conservatism doesn't do crazy all caps rant titles and their probably the closest on the political spectrum
