It's not a tool though, that's my point. It's no more a tool with a broad reach than a circlejerk is community outreach. Social media isn't a public service, it's private business. I suppose saying simping might not have been the right word, but see it for what it is versus what it could be. It could be more than it is, but it's stuck being what it is due to the people it attracts.

Trust me, I recognize the irony.

Reddit cannot be better.
It's a bunch of Dunning-Kruger afflicted neckbearded know-it-alls who use their first world privilege (yes I'm appropriating their word) to live in a fairytale where they are the hero. Unburdened by the need to generate an income to payback their massive debts, the mighty keyboard warriors block people who hurt their feelings and message equally disdainful mods to ban wrong speak.
The only breaks? To chug corn syrup filled soda and do virtual appointments with doctors so both their social anxiety can be pandered to and their pancreas can keep from exploding. They save water by not bathing, that's how committed they are to climate change.
Don't simp Reddit or that sub dude. Congrats on the ban.
