Comment on: Got from r/justiceserved banned because I was in r/conservative
I'm bleeding heart liberal (if you don't believe, just check my history lol). Looking in r.conservative gives me a brain aneurysm every. single. time, so I've learned to avoid it for my mental health. That said, getting autobanned from *any* sub because you post *anything* in different sub is fucking stupid, and reddit is fucking dumb for allowing bullshit like that.

Buddy, when you're talking about secret police doing this stuff in the background, you're going neck deep into the conspiracy pool...

Except reddit itself doesn't publish anything? It's a private forum that hosts everyone else... If you wanna point me to somewhere in their terms of service that states that your speech belongs to and is copywrited to them, then I'll accept they're a publisher (owner of what's published). Until then, they're absolutely a platform, not a publisher.

I'd like to subscribe to your conspiracy theory newsletter. Seriously, corporations are not government. They lobby the government to be sure (as all businesses do to promote their interests), but they do not get censorship orders from the government. If they did, the government would be restricting *their* free speech rights. Please read more into free speech when you can, both what it is and who it applies to... because you're applying your understanding wrong here.

It's also within their free speech rights, brother. They are not in any way, shape, or form obligated to provide a soap box for people to stand on when it's their soap box - being forced to do so would go against *their* free speech rights. Why is this so hard for some to understand? XKCD has an excellent explainer on this. I'd link to it but don't know if links get flagged on this sub, but just Google "xkcd free speech".

Comment on: Banned after a year... for what?
Yeah, reddit really needs a way for mod abuse like that to be reported. It's not right, and those people should not be allowed to be mods.

Old, sick animals, by far and large, tend to be put down. That's also exactly what you meant, and you know it. The gaslighting is real.

It's not projection when you say it out loud, brother.

This is the most apt description of reddit I've seen so far lol.
