Comment on: Is The 24-Pin Connector Dead?
They are more difficult to separate, yes, but they are easily repairable and modifiable. There's no need to save this space inside server and PC cases. There's no point to have it in a PC, and it's too big for a laptop, so, why?

Comment on: Android users might be interested in this useful iOS feature
Both OSs are simply for data collection/spyware and advertising. The best option is a privacy respecting, open source Android OS.

Comment on: Microsoft unveils new Microsoft Store for Windows 11, lets developers keep all the money
I like PopOS but Ubuntu is my favorite OS. It's not the most private or most efficient but works better for me.

Comment on: 14 ways to stay private while using an Android device - ProtonMail Blog
Yep. But still, what use is safe, vetted, open source software when it comes to privacy if you run it with Google or Apple monitoring it, and everything else on the device? The way I see it is its all or nothing. You can switch from Gmail and install whatever email app on your phone, but you've still got a super admin privileged monitoring service running in the background.

There is no privacy on mobile unless you use a privacy aware open source ROM

Comment on: Nvidia is nerfing its new RTX 3060 for Ethereum cryptocurrency mining - The Verge
Where will the usage restrictions end? Will they wake up one day and install restrictions against political parties? They are now distributing a malware to limit perfectly capable hardware to reduce it's featureset for their own gain at the cost of the customer. Will Nvidia GPUs end up having a locked down and heavily censored and monitored app store like the one the all-seeing-eye Apple employs? This is a very slippery slope. Brand loyalists will blindly defend this unexpected and shocking infringement Nvidia has made.

Brave is fantastic but I don't know if I'd trust Gab to maintain a browser. It's hard work pushing out security updates everyday.
