This website is a giant piece of shit and doesn't actually function how you think it does. Maybe to you, this website is a forum where people share cat pictures, but that's all secondary. In actuality this is a website used to peddle ads and political propaganda. Any dissenting opinions are silenced with the downvote system, usually implementing bots. (I've had a post go untouched for 2 days only for it to receive 10 responses and continual downvotes within a half hour.)

It works on particular subs. My submission was autofiltered on r/hockey and as soon as it was approved all my comments get autofiltered.. It's like this on other main subs as as well.

It's very simple. A judge gave an opinion (not a ruling) on a case dealing with trolls coming from The Daily Stormer which is a neo-nazi website. Non-retarded people on reddit pointed out the shitty precedent in making people pay money for "trolling online," as we've seen the victim mentality get way over blown with what is considered "harassment." Some people were also questioning whether that would apply to "protected classes" as well by bringing in the Covington MAGA kid who received death threats after the media spun a story about him being racist that turned out to be fake.
