This is not just in the it field . All jobs in corporate America are now this way . The only way to get a good job anymore is to go back to the 70's good ole boy network and call all your contacts let them call their contacts and keep working it til you find the job at the pay you want . There was a time when people were hired based on how good of work you did but that time has past . Now they only hire people they think know a little bit less than them so they do not look bad .
