Was thinking of having a bit of fun with protocols (URI Schemes), and browser extensions - but, on Windows, it requires a registry entry to achieve. I don't know enough about extensions to say, if they are allowed to create such entries in any OS, without the user downloading a separate file for it.

Anyone know if this is possible?
