Hi there, v/programming!

I recently opened v/collaborate as a channel for Voaters to discuss and team-up for shared projects; while we're not (currently) limiting ourselves to programming or tech, my experience has shown these fields particularly amenable to the asynchronous, remote teamwork and collaboration made possible by internet platforms. In fact, this subverse grew out of a previous local (NYC) initiative to connect visionaries, designers, and developers interested in creating free/public web & mobile applications.

We're still getting started as a subverse on Voat, and I have absolutely no intention to control its content or direction beyond initial impressions; as a community of experts and eager hobbyists, I couldn't ask for a better audience (and/or unashamedly-recruited focus group) than v/programming. If you're interested or have any suggestions (especially criticism), please don't hesitate to visit or contact me directly. I'm also a firm believer in administrative diversity, hoping to find eager field-expert moderators from outside my initial team.
