What is your favourite HTML5 game engine or framework?

I'm looking into making some HTML5 games and wanted to dive into a system fully but am having a hard time determining which one.
I feel like I'm pretty good at Unity3D (which isn't saying much) but their HTML5 is super slow and I think they are going to discontinue their webplayer. I want HTML5 without making people download a plugin anyways.
I did start from scratch using Javascript but seems like I'm re-inventing the wheel.
Cocos2D-X seems like it has a huge community and frequent updates.
I'm also looking into MelonJS and others.
Any experience with these or others?
Looking for any input or discussion on this topic, feel like I'm sitting here with writers block, have some ideas but need to get started.
Thanks Goats!
