As I've said earlier, I don't think we need to split off yet. It's not like /v/programming has too much content. Also, I'm not sure if there is enough community for a separate Objective-C subverse.

The way I see it is, hopefully people will put Objective-C related articles in that sub.

That way I don't have to be bothered with hipster languages clogging up my news feed.

Those darn hipster languages are taking up my whole feed! I don't care that they made languages like Rust, Him, Ruby, Python, Haskell, C#, Java, C++, FORTRAN, COBOL, Prolog, C, and assembly, but why did they have to tell anyone else about them? It was better when everything was on punch cards.

Implying Objective-C is not a hipster version of C. Let's put brackets around it everything, add a function name before all the parameters, wrap an Apple library around it, change a few more things, and call it Objective-C. It'll be different! It'll be us! The syntax will be unlike anything the world has ever seen! Edit: My bad. They stole some syntax from Smalltalk. Still hipster.

On an unrelated topic, would anybody be interested in subscribing to /v/masochism with me? </burn>

I think it's best we focus on increasing the speed of this sub first, but I have subscribed in the hope that it will get faster in the future. If anybody is interested in /v/androiddev that would be awesome if you could subscribe as well.
