Well that just brings up more questions than answers... mainly what the hell is the context for the screenshot that they would decide to hire someone who nobody has ever heard of and is wealthy enough refuse a job offer for however much some other no-name woman would be payed to type some shit into a computer in front of a camera that makes the screen hardly legible.
I worked as a loan officer for a few years and wondered why this particular female had her own office because she had the same position as me and did less work. One day I caught her giving the manager a BJ in the office, besides the fact that the owner let her stay in his house sometimes. Her name was Jackie, I miss her, or the fact she didn't give me a BJ.
That screenshot leaked to the investors gets whoever the fuck just said that fired. Pissing away money on a female hire for you to hit on? Go find yourself a girlfriend. Don't spend company money trying to hire yourself one.
Maybe advertising for their company too? Remember that app guy that hired the homeless dude to make apps. That was a huge ad for the app building company. Homeless dude made an app called "trees for cars". People downloaded the app to feel good about themselves.
Last I heard, The homeless dude is homeless again.
It is all Silicon Snake Oil.
That's all true. BUT the really funny part in all this, is that the girl herself (attached to those hands) and her loyal followers ACTUALLY FUCKING BELIEVE THAT WHAT SHE IS DOING IS CODING!!!!
one of the biggest ball busters these days is these retards are the ones being hired for "programming" jobs, but once they get to the office, the managers realize they're inept and so they assign them the only task they can give them that they cant royally fuck up due to their lack of coding ability... writing the all important "Code of Conduct"
Imagine a folder within a folder within a folder (folders are also called directories).
So: voat > sub verseres > animals > felines > cats
You are within the cats folder (sub).
The CD .. means to go back 1 directory to felines.
Change Directory + 2 periods is shorthand for going back 1 that you came from:
If your are in felines you could:
cd /cats (to go one folder in)
So this girl was just going back one directory her whole screen.
Almost perfect ;) but you have a typo. .
You cannot "cd /cats" if you are in "felines".
You are mixing up a absolute path and a relative path.
Absolute would have the entire path in the filesystem, relative is relative to the location you are currently in.
As such, you would want "cd cats/" or "cd cats".
An absolute path would (with your given example) be. "cd /voat/sub\ verseres/animals/felines/cats". Note that the \ by "sub" is because the path contains a space. The \ is to "escape" the space for the path.
Otherwise, you are spot on and that is a great explanation +1 to you sir.
I didn't see a point in correcting him. But then I learned the difference between a relative and entire path which explains a lot to me! So here's your upvote!
And on a more abstract note, they could have had it work the other way, where /cats was relative and cats was absolute. But since most of the time you want things relative, they chose the longer version to be the one used less often. Efficiency.
Also, there's a totally useless and redundant function up top. It's a function that combines two strings; pretty useless, too, since it doesn't return a value and her call to it isn't using it, in any context. It just combines the strings and stops. No output.
A retardedly convoluted way of typing, print "your" + " mom";
windows 95 was still dos underneath. windows was still just a shell that ran on top of dos. They attempted to strip most of it out with ME but failed and switched over to the NT line based off of windows 2000 with the transition to windows xp.
windows 95 still dropped you down to that black and white C:> prompt when shit hit the fan during boot.
If you have a Mac (bear with me here) Or linux, you can use it much like command line. She's using Bash commands.
Literally, she's using the computer without a mouse or keyboard.
"cd" is "Change Directory," basically 'click on folder on the screen I'm on now,' or 'go back up a layer in the folders- if I was in 'pics of my kids,' take me back to just 'pics.'
That's basically what she's doing.
"cd .." is "take me back up a layer."
"cd code" was her trying to find a folder she'd named "code."
So,
A: this isn't coding, it's just using the pc on keyboard commands only.
Yep. It's even sadder that she started by trying to find a folder named "code" that didn't even exist. Her next step is to try and go up a layer, rather than "ls" which is "list the folders that are in this folder," to see if she'd mis-typed the name of the folder when naming it (or to even figure out where she is.) she only does that later.
It's like...what is this person even trying to do? They're just hammering out random commands, not going anywhere or trying to do anything, it seems.
basically the command line equivalent of opening the file explorer clicking on a blank spot on the screen and going why no folder open then dragging the screen around angrily.
There was a girl in my geosciences 100 class that was always complaining. She wanted valedictorian and some STEM degree. Found out she was always complaining because her grade was something like 45%-50%.
For me goes100 is a fun and easy elective, for her it made her face crushing reality. At least I got to on field trips with coeds.
She didn't even mkdir, was she just hoping there was a directory called "code" ? Nah she was just using the only commands she knows to signal to facebook about her wealth of coding "knowledge" .
Maybe she downloaded and extracted a code folder into Desktop via GUI and doesn't know where Desktop folder is... I don't know, if presenting something in front of an audience it's good to do dress rehersals.
For anyone reading who is new to linux there are a couple of ways to find a directory. The 2 ways I know of are find or locate.
Find is kind of slow but works:
find / -type d -iname 'code' 2>/dev/null
you can use the locate command to find directories quickly if the locate scan has been generated and is fresh. If the directory you're looking for was created recently use find.
User: cd code
Computer: No 'code' directory here sorry.
User: cd..
Computer: "That's not how you do it"
User: pwd
Computer: Here you are, but you could have just looked at your prompt you fool. Remember yesterday when you learned how to customize it? Look at the friggin mess you made of it....it's so embarrassing, make sure you don't let anyone else see it.
User: cd..
Computer: Are you retarded? I told you that's wrong.
User: cd ..
Computer: Horray! There's hope after all, here you go...
User: ls
Computer: Look what we have here...
User: cd code
Computer: Kill me now!!
then I see shit like this and realize I am good enough
That's just as much of a trap as the opposite scenario though. The world is already full of smug "experts" who think they're hot shit because they're better than 90% of Pajeets they see on Stack Overflow.
Fuck it, why not. I'm a full stack engineer, but not a web stack engineer. I did some shit in iis, so I'll call myself a web stack engineer now. I also manage all cyber security, so I'm a crypto engineer now.
I'm going to change my gender to female, dye my hair pink, and be waiting for a 7 digit offer letter from google.
I've done more to download brave browser then her and I in no way consider myself a programmer...no wonder software nowadays has crippling vulnerabilities if this is what they are hiring for "programming"
I have met exactly one woman who knew more about IT than most people I have come across. She had her CCNP at age 16. Outside of her, every other woman has been useless and always caused issues. I've spoken with her in recent years and she says she hates women in the field. She has yet to meet one who can perform their job independently without complete oversight.
There is only one other woman I have met in the IT industry/field that I have respect for and it was because she told me straight up what she knew and didn't. She then wanted to learn and expand. I did all I could to help her when I was able because she was a hard worker. Smart. However, the moment her husband was able to make enough to support them both and their kids she stopped working. She rather had been home with the kids than working constantly missing out on their lives.
I've worked with plenty of women over the years in the IT world. Exactly two I respect. The rest can go fuck off into the wind.
Heh, same here. Knew a female programmer who was suprisingly very competent, met her down the road and found out she spent very little time in the industry.
She rather had been home with the kids than working constantly missing out on their lives.
Which is great. That is more important than money, to make sure the kids are not indoctrinated by the shithole satanists writing the education curriculum.
She's just a fuckwit B-list model who started a sexist scholarship for girls who want to learn how to "kode", which I guess that's 'code' for filling your screen with command line gibberish then posing for photos.
Just another vapid, virtue signaling, wanna-be celeb trying to pretend her life doesn't revolve around her looks and a crippling need for social media attention.
I think she just married into some powerful/wealthy family.
Guess the modeling, koding and fake-lezzing with Taylor Swift wasn't "empowering" enough.
Ah, that's it. She married Jared Kushner's brother Josh. So I guess she's Ivanka's sister-in-law now.
In 2014, Kushner, with his brother Joshua and Ryan Williams, co-founded Cadre (now RealCadre LLC), an online real-estate investment platform. His business partners included Goldman Sachs and billionaire George Soros, a top Democratic Party donor.[26][27][28] In early 2015, Soros Fund Management financed the startup with a $250 million credit line.[26][29] Kushner did not identify these business relationships in his January 2017 government financial-disclosure form.[26][30]
Damn, they're a sketchy bunch. Gonna be interesting to see what Trump's long term game is regarding his son-in-law.
lol the stuff on the left isn't even the worst of it. What about:
square(4)
Calling square() on a known constant and then throwing away the result......? lmao....how inadequate do you have to feel about your coding ability to create a photo like this....?
No such file, command not found, command not found, no such file. You figure they would do something different when the computer is telling you it doesnt understand what you want it to do... reminds me alot of DOS but I can barely remember how to use it anymore.
I don't know the first thing about ruby but most programming languages have it built in. Its called string formatting and string interpolation. Ruby has it. Hilariously she is using string interpolation in her concatenate method. It's completely redundant to use it that way.
It's only easy to fall for it if you have a huge ego and think what you do is the greatest thing in the universe and literally everyone needs to get in on it, market dynamics be damned.
Oh, you were replying to my script, it sucks so far...

She is a 6 foot Aryan goddess /model who married a Jew This is just your typical vapid thot virtue-signalling. Jews getting all the prime white women. Makes you wonder if they really are God's chosen people.
doing my degree a number of years ago we had a few females doing the course. The girls, while great at design aspect, would fail at programming and the beta teachers would fall over themselves helping the girls with their assignments, only to at the end of the day, mark their own work and give the grade to their students. yeah, im still bitter about it.
Aww too bad. I had in my mind this image of women sitting around awkwardly fumbling around in the directories trying to look for a file named "code" and thinking they're programming. For like hours.
I'll keep saying this over and over again, there was never even one female in any technology or programming class I ever attended in my life. Yet in the IT sector there are female programmers everywhere.
Either they are geniuses which would be easy to figure out pretty quickly, or they were hired by shitty management that wants to virtue about how they aren't sexist. The female programmers I know don't know how to code, write bad code slowly, and then raise hell about some stupid bullshit to gain attention. Every single time.
The fact that they're female or not is redundant Semitics. If they're good at writing code they're a programmer. Why do you need to bring attention to the fact they're a girl? Should argue more Semitics and start calling all men guy programmers? it doesn't make any sense to me. girl/female programmers are just women trying to virtue signal about how nerdy they are by calling themselve le gurl coders just like they do the same with video games.
In my more than 20 years of programming experience, I met ONE woman - yeah, just one - who was actually fucking good at her job. Just the one - no others. Reality check: she fucking hated all the other women in programming, because they were fucking awful and nothing more than diversity hires. Get her trust and she'd rail against these cunts like there was no tomorrow because they shit on real women who actually wanted to program, and used their pussies to get their jobs, and get a leg up on the corporate ladder. She fucking despised and loathed them because they couldn't do their fucking jobs, and would simply fuck themselves into a high position.
Eventually she got so sick of it (being passed over time and time again because she wouldn't cheat on her husband) that she quit, became and full-time housewife/mother/home-schooler, and had zero regrets whatsoever. I did, because she actually did the shit I asked her to do, and then some, but seeing her with her kids...I couldn't fault her. She was an awesome fucking mom....
It always amazes me that guys will hire a female just to try and fuck her. It's just crazy. But plenty of women have no problem fucking their way to the top. Valerie Solonas said it best: men are walking dildos, they would swim through a river of piss and shit if there was a friendly pussy awaiting them.
If you zoom in. You can clearly see that this is a Hello World program. It's cute when the has two different strings bring used for each word... I bet the person who is training her is trolling her.
They are a wonderful concept. If you want the highest lightest touch you can download "learn you a haskell for great good". Free. Though I don't remember if they specifically mention monads, the practical definition is expressed in the wizard book out of MIT from the 80s or so. Also free online.
There are some video talks/lectures on youtube. You almost get a feeling that you sort of understand while listening... But you don't really, fully. The theory can get advanced. It's still exiting when you feel like you're understanding things in the moment! haha
Haskell people have specific names and terminology for certain use cases, both practical and theoretical... I think those names are used in their standard library and/or popular frameworks. Some of the terminology is mathematical... The jargon kind of runs together lol.
woman are held to a different and lower standard in programming. However that is not to say that they do not have something to contribute, often times they can see thorough or find obstacles that there male counterparts cannot.
I'm a female and was a "computer programmer" for many years. My first job as a programmer must have been around 1965-66. The thing I remember is trays of punched cards which were fed into an IBM 1401 and transferred to a magnetic tape that was manually loaded on the tape drive. By manual I literally mean you took this 12-14" diameter heavy tape out of its case, put it up on a hub which you manually tightened, then lifted up the glass front, and punched 3 or 4 buttons above to tell it to start the vacuum and suck the tape down into its channels and make it ready to read, or write, depending on the directions of the program. When the program was on tape, it was taken to the larger computer (the first one I worked on was an IBM 7074) and each time that program was run it had to be installed, or a tape drive dedicated to the program being there the whole time the program was running. There were, I cannot remember for sure, but 8 to 12 tape drives. Patches were fed into the program once it was loaded and when the number of patches got unwieldy, the program was "reassembled". I cannot remember the name of the the programming language. It may have been Assembler Lanugage. OMG that was back in the dark ages but it all worked, just slower than the 7 year itch, and huge machines that were so hot they have to be air conditioned 24/7. Output was in the form of printouts, and magnetic tapes. The contents of the tapes were often transferred to punched cards which were sent to the other part of the organization to pull stock for shipment etc. You wouldn't believe the number of tapes we had, rooms full of them. Can't even imagine how I remember that. Several years, and jobs later I programmed the IBM 360, and 370, and somewhere in between there was another computer manufacturer, but I'll be darned if I can remember who that was. Eventually I got out of programming into management. When I left the field 30 years later we had IBM PC's on our desks, and the ability to send email within the organization, but not outside. We didn't, at least where I worked, have a network outside our organization, so security was simpler with no outside access. This ancient HP laptop I'm typing on now has more memory and obviously faster computing power than the 7074, and its likely that it has more storage capacity than those rooms full of magnetic tapes. I cannot imagine living without my computer. I'm pretty such I got my first desktop at home before I retired, and haven't been without a computer since then. I'm getting dumber though..in the early days of desktop computer the operating systems and concepts were pretty much alike between the big mainframes and the office desk computers. Now the operating systems are quite different, and that's not to even mention the notebooks, and the power of these cell phones. There's probably more and faster computing power on a cell phone than the first mainframes I programmed. I've lived in interesting and fun times. You cannot even imagine how it will all change in the next 30 or 50 years, assuming we don't blow ourselves to kingdom come first. Well, if you took the time to read this, I hope you enjoyed a trip back in time. Thanks...old former Female Programmer :-)
I used to know a lesbian software developer, but wouldn't think most were. While I haven't met any/ err many in person, but MTF trannies is something that has been known to happen among upper level programmers/hackers...
Now being a geek, maybe even on the autism spectrum... You do see signs of that among some of the female developers.
"She needs to join our startup" That shit infuriates me. Im just now learning to code to hopefully get into the software development field and know that I have a long road ahead of me. This bitch is literally just changing directories and people want to hire her...

Yes, but 90% pussy-pass hire. Those guys weren't inviting her to their startup for anything other than the eye candy and potential lay.

"potential lay"
I think everyone involved knows there's zero potential there.

Still nice to break up the monotony of seeing dudes all day every day.

She’s Ivanka Trump’s sister in law. Her and here hysband are worth several hundred million.
0 u/MehWhatever 30 Oct 2018 09:58
Well, her husband is. Only way she'll be worth anywhere near that is if she divorces him and gets the judge to disregard the prenup lol.
0 u/Mooncrickets 30 Oct 2018 11:12
She’ll get knocked up soon enough. Then, even with a divorce she’ll own that cash.
She was already worth around $20m before getting married to him. She’s not coding because she needs it to make a living. She’s just doing it for fun.
She makes more in interest off of her fortune each year than most code monkeys do in 5 years.
0 u/MehWhatever 30 Oct 2018 11:32
She's doing it to show off and pat herself on the back for "making the world a better place" by running a scholarship for girls interested in tech.

0 u/Itty-bitty_Tity-trap 30 Oct 2018 05:35
I'm not trying to school you, you are just having a bitch fit over someone giving a more accurate explanation.
0 u/KikesDidJFK 30 Oct 2018 05:37
Am I?
0 u/Itty-bitty_Tity-trap 30 Oct 2018 05:37
Yes.
0 u/KikesDidJFK 30 Oct 2018 05:39
Ok. Still interested in your answer though. I want to know how good your tolerance for errors is.
0 u/Itty-bitty_Tity-trap 30 Oct 2018 05:40
I have low tolerance for your stupidity. You win
0 u/KikesDidJFK 30 Oct 2018 05:43
Another internet argument won. I'll add it to the tally.
0 u/WhiteRonin 30 Oct 2018 05:34
Thanks! I whacked that out real quick on my phone and wasn’t paying attention. Those multiple CD .. s got to me. Lol
0 u/level_101 30 Oct 2018 06:48
NP. That was just a very good way of explaining the pic/structure. I appreciated it.
0 u/speedisavirus 30 Oct 2018 23:49
You can if cats is a file system root directory...
0 u/level_101 31 Oct 2018 00:44
Correct, however that was not what the example or explanation showed.
0 u/TheTrigger 30 Oct 2018 04:48
Also, there's a totally useless and redundant function up top. It's a function that combines two strings; pretty useless, too, since it doesn't return a value and her call to it isn't using it, in any context. It just combines the strings and stops. No output.
A retardedly convoluted way of typing,
print "your" + " mom";0 u/WhiteRonin 30 Oct 2018 05:31
I gave up when I saw the multiple CD ..
Lol, good man for taking one for us!
0 u/Firevine 30 Oct 2018 04:57
I did that shit on DOS when I was six years old.
0 u/WhiteRonin 30 Oct 2018 05:30
10 print “Pooh”
20 Goto 10
... I was 13 or so but we are talking TSR80 back then!
0 u/Intrixina 30 Oct 2018 08:35
Yup, same here.
0 u/kykek 30 Oct 2018 20:16
ugg I was born in the GUI era - Fuck Windows and Macintosh
Why did we ever switch to GUI's
I should have been forced to use DOS as a young child, not windows 95.
0 u/Mechanicalmechanic 01 Nov 2018 15:49
If you used Win95 for any reasonable duration you inevitably would fault out to a command prompt.
0 u/Sk8rminion 03 Nov 2018 03:56
windows 95 was still dos underneath. windows was still just a shell that ran on top of dos. They attempted to strip most of it out with ME but failed and switched over to the NT line based off of windows 2000 with the transition to windows xp.
windows 95 still dropped you down to that black and white C:> prompt when shit hit the fan during boot.

0 u/THEx1138 30 Oct 2018 04:14
Monkey writing Shakespeare.
0 u/MehWhatever 30 Oct 2018 05:02
More like a monkey writing Dr. Seuss, and failing to get past the first sentence.
0 u/wild-tangent 30 Oct 2018 09:44
Well it's not really code.
B: She can't even do THAT right.
0 u/Cedru 30 Oct 2018 13:30
Thanks for taking the time to explain. That truly sad.
0 u/wild-tangent 30 Oct 2018 18:47
0 u/wakkablam 30 Oct 2018 16:00
Is the bear still with you? Do you need assistance?
0 u/wild-tangent 30 Oct 2018 18:44
Yes. Very snuggly.
0 u/speedisavirus 30 Oct 2018 23:50
CD is a windows shell command too
0 u/wild-tangent 31 Oct 2018 17:11
Fair. I'm not familiar with windows shell.
0 u/roznak 30 Oct 2018 20:45
The impressive lines you see are just error messages telling her that she is doing it wrong.
0 u/Cedru 30 Oct 2018 23:25
Lol, outstanding!
0 u/squishysquid 06 Dec 2018 06:59
basically the command line equivalent of opening the file explorer clicking on a blank spot on the screen and going why no folder open then dragging the screen around angrily.
0 u/Gumbatron 30 Oct 2018 04:11
lol....
List of files, definitely no "code" directory
... no such file or directory: code
must keep looking until I find that code that someone else wrote so I can pass it of as my own (if only I understood what it did).
0 u/TheTrigger 30 Oct 2018 04:34
The filenames themselves are also weird. What fucking directory tree is she backing out of?! WHY DOES A SPEAKING GRANDMA LAB NEED PRE-COLLEGE?!
0 u/Plavonica 30 Oct 2018 10:30
There was a girl in my geosciences 100 class that was always complaining. She wanted valedictorian and some STEM degree. Found out she was always complaining because her grade was something like 45%-50%.
For me goes100 is a fun and easy elective, for her it made her face crushing reality. At least I got to on field trips with coeds.
0 u/fortuitouslyunfallen 30 Oct 2018 06:26
She didn't even mkdir, was she just hoping there was a directory called "code" ? Nah she was just using the only commands she knows to signal to facebook about her wealth of coding "knowledge" .
0 u/hfkmfn 30 Oct 2018 10:29
Maybe she downloaded and extracted a
codefolder into Desktop via GUI and doesn't know whereDesktopfolder is... I don't know, if presenting something in front of an audience it's good to do dress rehersals.0 u/nobslob 30 Oct 2018 12:35
For anyone reading who is new to linux there are a couple of ways to find a directory. The 2 ways I know of are find or locate.
Find is kind of slow but works:
you can use the locate command to find directories quickly if the locate scan has been generated and is fresh. If the directory you're looking for was created recently use find.

0 u/KikesDidJFK 30 Oct 2018 05:19
And that's exactly what they say about people just a little further left of them.....
0 u/Korinthian 30 Oct 2018 07:24
nah, people on the far left shit on people on everyone to the right of them, because they think those lacking confidence are lacking skill.

That's just as much of a trap as the opposite scenario though. The world is already full of smug "experts" who think they're hot shit because they're better than 90% of Pajeets they see on Stack Overflow.

0 u/dhif 30 Oct 2018 22:20
Yeah, the only real advantage of PS/2 is for keyboards, because it makes n-key rollover possible (assuming your keyboard is designed for n-key also)
0 u/unlimitedrulebook 19 Jan 2019 02:45

0 u/valk2 30 Oct 2018 04:48
0 u/Intrixina 30 Oct 2018 08:36
Notice how the competent women are the ones who prefer traditional gender roles in the long run?
0 u/AbjectSubstance 31 Oct 2018 00:45
Heh, same here. Knew a female programmer who was suprisingly very competent, met her down the road and found out she spent very little time in the industry.
0 u/BumFightChamp 30 Oct 2018 18:19
Which is great. That is more important than money, to make sure the kids are not indoctrinated by the shithole satanists writing the education curriculum.
0 u/Mechanicalmechanic 01 Nov 2018 15:47
We home school our kids in my house and trying to find a curriculum that was not Christo-centric was a task.
0 u/speedisavirus 30 Oct 2018 23:48

0 u/squishysquid 06 Dec 2018 06:57
The story of every female dev I've ever met; good field to find a husband in though so can't exactly fault them.
0 u/MehWhatever 30 Oct 2018 04:58
She's just a fuckwit B-list model who started a sexist scholarship for girls who want to learn how to "kode", which I guess that's 'code' for filling your screen with command line gibberish then posing for photos.
Just another vapid, virtue signaling, wanna-be celeb trying to pretend her life doesn't revolve around her looks and a crippling need for social media attention.
0 u/Gorillion 30 Oct 2018 05:14
I think she just married into some powerful/wealthy family.
Guess the modeling, koding and fake-lezzing with Taylor Swift wasn't "empowering" enough.
Ah, that's it. She married Jared Kushner's brother Josh. So I guess she's Ivanka's sister-in-law now.
Damn, they're a sketchy bunch. Gonna be interesting to see what Trump's long term game is regarding his son-in-law.
0 u/MehWhatever 30 Oct 2018 05:39

0 u/KikesDidJFK 30 Oct 2018 05:26

0 u/cantaloupe6 30 Oct 2018 05:49

0 u/ThirteenthZodiac 30 Oct 2018 06:37

0 u/LooshCollector 30 Oct 2018 15:58
I don't know the first thing about ruby but most programming languages have it built in. Its called string formatting and string interpolation. Ruby has it. Hilariously she is using string interpolation in her concatenate method. It's completely redundant to use it that way.
0 u/neogag 30 Oct 2018 05:51

0 u/neogag 30 Oct 2018 10:02
It's only easy to fall for it if you have a huge ego and think what you do is the greatest thing in the universe and literally everyone needs to get in on it, market dynamics be damned.
0 u/NoisyCricket 30 Oct 2018 12:57

doing my degree a number of years ago we had a few females doing the course. The girls, while great at design aspect, would fail at programming and the beta teachers would fall over themselves helping the girls with their assignments, only to at the end of the day, mark their own work and give the grade to their students. yeah, im still bitter about it.

0 u/1111_devotion 30 Oct 2018 12:12
It always amazes me that guys will hire a female just to try and fuck her. It's just crazy. But plenty of women have no problem fucking their way to the top. Valerie Solonas said it best: men are walking dildos, they would swim through a river of piss and shit if there was a friendly pussy awaiting them.

The fact that she posted this makes it that much more embarrassing than it already was.

I didn't realize that coding was simply typing cd and ls all day.

odd story I saw on yahoo newa once. Woman said she taught herself SQL, now she has a start-up with over a million dollars in investments.
Not much to SQL. Just a part of web app development. I wish I could find that story again. You can't do much with sql alone.

If you zoom in. You can clearly see that this is a Hello World program. It's cute when the has two different strings bring used for each word... I bet the person who is training her is trolling her.

The console commands are pretty funny but if you zoom in on the code it has been writing you see
Prodigy in the works!

That is almost a monad. Haskell people can go on for hours about monads... Kind of wish I understood better. :/
0 u/speedisavirus 30 Oct 2018 23:58

The jargon kind of runs together lol.

when I brag about coding, I have something to show like an airsoft bullet counter actual working or lithium bms with lcd display; all scratch built.

woman are held to a different and lower standard in programming. However that is not to say that they do not have something to contribute, often times they can see thorough or find obstacles that there male counterparts cannot.

This is why women shouldn't be in this field

Female can make good programmers...though those are usually lesbians
0 u/hfkmfn 03 Nov 2018 01:29
I used to know a lesbian software developer, but wouldn't think most were. While I haven't met any/ err many in person, but MTF trannies is something that has been known to happen among upper level programmers/hackers...
Now being a geek, maybe even on the autism spectrum... You do see signs of that among some of the female developers.

I feel much confident about my programming skill now.

"She needs to join our startup" That shit infuriates me. Im just now learning to code to hopefully get into the software development field and know that I have a long road ahead of me. This bitch is literally just changing directories and people want to hire her...
