Sorry if this is the wrong place but most of my searches seemed to pull up more /v/programming posts than anything else.

I'm looking to revamp my personal photo gallery, I've been using Gallery since 2002 or so (back about the time I first got DSL and registered a domain) and with the project on hiatus it's now time to find something else. The Biggest thing I need to address is making the layout and presentation mobile friendly. I'd like to future-proof it as much as possible, so HTML5 and no flash... but I'm not a programmer. I can sorta butcher my way though a readme and most issues found with simple searches (I'm a function guy, not form.. so I don't tend to mess with things once they work right), but am certainly looking for a complete package.

Wondering if anyone has input or thoughts on this. I'm not really looking for a Wordpress site/plugin (I use my gallery exclusively for hosting photos I've taken for family to view and don't do any social media sites where photos are typically shared, also not interested in established hosting sites (flicker, picasa, etc...) where you often give away your rights in exchange for hosting. BUT, I'm open to all thoughts... I know I'm way out of touch these days and may be missing out on things I have no clue about.
