Does there exist a FOSS browser that doesn't contulinually make shit decisions?

Nope.

XUL has some issues, and does need some rework or replacement.

Is this the right path? I am not sure, we will have to see.

I tried midori on win7 (64). Crashed relentlessly, seconds after execution. Tried reinstalling, didn't work. Did I do something wrong? (Except for using Windows, har har)

Nope. Crashes constantly on Linux too. You're not the only one who noticed.

You know, if they eliminate XUL legacy crap, they can implement the WebExtensions API in Servo. This means Servo would actually become usable for browsing the web.

Palemoon, everybody. The Firefox of the yesteryear. Same great features and extensions without the stupidity of Mozilla.

A developer for a popular plugin announced this months ago or something similar.

Gone with DownThemAll! will be add-ons that e.g. let you change major bits about the Firefox user interface (e.g. tabs tree add-ons), add-ons that allow you to do more “advanced” stuff than just showing or slightly altering websites, such as e.g. restarting the browser upon click (unless mozilla kindly provides an API for that, which won’t be compatible with Chrome, of course).

I'm not ready to say goodbye to my tree tabs :'(

Tree tabs are literally the only reason I've stuck with Firefox. If I lose that, I'm going to fork firefox or chromium and hard code them back in myself.

Well, i've made my comment on the official announcement, i'm just gonna head over to /. .

What's that? Firefox to be forked within the next year or two in a major move to preserve the power and utility of existing features?
