I tried to search to see if this had already been posted, but the search feature was disabled here on VOAT. :P

I figured it was better to just try posting anyway given the looming deadline. Hopefully not a repost. :)

It's fine. A heads up is nice.

if you want to search voat in the future try using the site functionality of your favorite search engine. (this is what I always did in reddit because reddit's search was and probably still is shit)

For example on google:

site:voat.co <search term>

You can also limit it to specific subreddits via

site:voat.co/v/programming <search term>

I didn't know you could go deeper! Good stuff.

Now I'm wondering if we could embed that into the sidebar with some CSS hackery. Probably not :|

You'll be able to contact them to add a URL with the new project location.

If a project needs some administrative action, such as deleting a project or setting up a "project moved" URL you can contact google-code-shutdown@google.com and somebody (most likely me) will twiddle the bits on your project.

From the /r/programming thread.

Not really the last chance because the data will still be accessible until and unspecified date and still be downloadable by subversion and git until January 2016.
