I use Source Code Pro, which looks quite similar but maybe is a little wider.

I've never had an issue with fonts when programming. Don't really see the utility of this at all.

As long as the font distinguishes between:

  • "0" and "O"
  • "I", "l", and "1"

then I'm all good.
