If you;d write a voat clone, what technology stack would you use?

No, I don't plan to clone voat, I'm just interested in what makes those sites working. I see what voat is using and I don't think it's the way to go.

I'd start with postgres as database and then add some framework or application server but wich one? Rails? Grails? something fancy LISP based(like HN)?

What would you use?

The MEAN stack probably. Not because it performs exceptionally well, just because I want to get familiar with it :) I'm actually working on a Charles Proxy alternative written with the MEAN stack
