Hello, my name is Benjamin Turley. Yes, the Benjamin Turley.

Who is Benjamin Turley?

I made this site.

Yeah, I figured as much, but > the Benjamin Turley implied someone famous

Hence the joke.

It doesn't work.

Javascript is having problems accessing your microphone

I am using Pale Moon

The site uses getUserMedia(). It is the most popular media library. Try using Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari or Opera.

EDIT: Just looked at Pale Moon's specs, seems like it derives from Mozilla and should support the library. Check your javascript settings. If it was just the code itself that was the problem, you would be seeing a different message.

Java settings?

0

Yeah, just to make sure it's active by default.

Oh, it is. I also tried on IE but it did not work there as well, so its not browser related unless both Pale Moon and IE are not supported somehow. I know Java is installed, as well as the JDK, so idk what the issue is.

Very weird. I just tested it on IE and it works fine. Anything odd about your setup?

Ok, cool thing and all, handy even.

But this is programming related how?

Check the about section, it was a javascript endeavor for me more than anything.

A fourier transform, the way I think he got the pitch, is very useful in programming.

Any wave can be recreated with a group of sine waves in a certain configuration. It has a bunch of uses in video/audio programming.

It might be cool if there was some context in this regard in the about section.
