I don't really want my texts and emails making sound. I assume I need to click on one for it to make sound? Otherwise it'll just autoplay, and fuck that. So while it'll be nominal, it's more work. And now I'll have to listen to everyone's emoticons as I sit in the bar? Yeah, grand.

Sounds instead of emoji sounds like a good idea... but honestly it would be extremely annoying.

Had those on a chat service called XAT. They have a range of sounds, and god they are annoying. Have to keep it muted in the sound mixer.
