Comment on: Apparently I'm shadow banned from The_Mueller
They are cult-like. Trump HAS to be guilty, and the years long media smear against this administration has convinced them that is true. I yearn for the day when Mueller says nothing was found, the drama wave will be thick and glorious.

Comment on: Censored in AskReddit for asking about subreddits that don't censor. My post never appeared in the New list, nor was I notified. My AskReddit comment karma is +4048. (feel free to answer the pictured question in your comments!)
Look at the questions that are popular there, then look at what you posted. There is a clear difference.

Comment on: /r/DebateAltRight has been censored via a quarantine. Wrongthink must be removed from sight. People can not be allowed to think for themselves. Reddit admins will do that for them. The admins will decide what the facts are.
Not even allowed to argue against them? Who'd have ever thunk that the Admins would defend the alt-right just like they defend the alt-left. Right, /u/spez?

Comment on: Reddit issued me a site-wide three day ban this week.
Your first mistake is thinking the mods of /r/racism care about you, and the second was thinking that the admins of reddit will care about you or those mods. People need to realize that this website, despite how it presents itself, isn't some digital beacon of morality. It was designed from the ground up to cater to advertisement money.
The admins are all few in number and overworked. They simply don't have the time or care to help. Moderator accounts will always have preferential treatment over normal users. They don't review the evidence or take context into their judgements, they probably have a set of guidelines they follow which allows them to quickly pass judgement.

Comment on: /r/GameOfThrones mods ensure no one can call out the "cultural appropriation" double standard as someone of obvious eastern Asian descent posts their Missandei costume.
If nobody was bringing up cultural appropriation then why bring it up? All that does is make drama. Now if that OP whines about it then maybe but she didn't so...

It's always hard to see it if you are looking from the inside out, but to us looking at your comments from the outside in it's pretty evident to why you got banned. Not gonna argue though, you do you.

It's just how your comments seem to be. I mean you typed out half a novel in response...

Maybe they banned you because you act like a dickhead, at least according to this thread

Comment on: Paid posters of r/Politics
I hate to say it, but actual intelligent debate died a long time ago on reddit. Probably about 9 years ago I could have a debate with center-left libertarian types on /r/politics and others. I actually learned a lot from them.
Nowadays politics aren't debated on reddit with the exception of a few heavily moderated subs. What actually happens is users try to prove that their "opponent" is their moral inferior, or a bigot of some form, or what ever other undesirable label.
I used to talk about politics on a lot of subs. I have come to realize that it's just not possible to convince anybody of anything on reddit since users will stubbornly stay their ground and try to do anything possible to make themselves look correct. Not prove anything about their world view. Make themselves look correct.
Therefor just pick a sub that you agree with and lurk. Don't comment. It's the best way to do politics on reddit.

Comment on: Apparently questioning someone’s own statement is worthy of a ban from r/Keep_Track
You were right though. If somebody in his position didn't get upset at all this bullshit then I'd be worried. Of course, the rest of reddit don't see him as a human. They see him as an evil white male republican.

Comment on: "and when I visit these websites, are they going to constrain what I can say, to only let me say certain types of things, or steer me to certain types of pages?" - Aaron Swartz
I've been using reddit on a nearly daily basis for the better part of a decade (despite the age of this account) and I remember him. He, and this promise, are why I started in the first place. I can understand removing really extreme subs like /r/niggers or ones that post content that can get reddit into legal trouble. I never expected this site to have absolute free speech.
But it's so obvious that far-left ideology has seeped into high places that it's starting to become accepted as the obvious moral high ground and anybody else is a cryptofascist who needs to be shut down immediately.
So basically, I miss Aaron and I miss the old reddit. The only reason I am still here is because there aren't any good competitors with the userbase. I'll just wait for the mass exodus of reddit to occur just like I did with Digg, and before that Myspace.
