Similar places have access to hundreds if not thousands of phone numbers to make scam calls. Plus there are markets for buying/selling social media accounts.

Not that South Korea is an adversary but it seems like a huge mistake to allow companies with strategic technology/manufacturing capability to be sold to foreign companies.
