The moderators there want to be moderators. But, they really don't want to do much work. Peterson topics cause a lot of brigading from outside of r/canada, rule breaking posts, etc. I personally think that the better Peterson topics should remain, as issues surrounding him are a real test of free speech generally, and is also very relevant to what's happening in our academic institutions. I don't think that any of the mods like Peterson topics, but it's not surprising that this particular mod is giving the post the boot.
