Well, it's time to look for an alternative. Or fork the current version at the very least. Let's hope some people are up for doing the latter.

Even though Microsoft has been forthcoming in the Open Source sector as of recent years, I am still hesitant to believe that they have moved away from their "Embrace, Extend, Extinguish" motto entirely. And given that GitHub is already run by less-than-sane people, I don't think this is a good match in any capacity whatsoever. On the upside, we will get to witness what happens when you combine the chaos of Microsoft with the SJW'isms of GitHub. Free trash fire.
