Comment on: Go 1.10 Release Notes
I'm gonna backtrack a little and assume it is relatively safe since 1.5.

But TBH, I will never trust Google or the CIA again.

Yes. How many people using Golang do you think compile their own compiler?
And what do they use to compile it?
At the head of every snake is an answer.

q: what do you compile the compiler with?
https://golang.org/cmd/compile/
I wasn't really talking about that though. I was talking about all the services it interfaces/leverages. I believe you can avoid it, but it requires a lot of work.
OTOH, Python is completely Open Source and not provided by WAPO ABC Corp.

But I don't trust them. I don't believe they are honest. Using their language requires some closed source libraries in order to do anything of true scaled utility.
I don't like liars.

I'm so torn on Golang. I mean on one hand it is so elegant, so user friendly, and works so well.
On the other hand, Google is the fucking Devil.
Right. You really can't. You could hire an army of coders and do pretty good with ARCH Linux and Python.
The difference is that ABC Corp is a monolithic, for-profit entity who has already been caught numerous times slanting the truth or presenting outright lies via their search engine and other channels.
The other difference is that the schmuck who partly founded Google, Eric Schmidt, was completely played and had his mind controlled by very persuasive, very dirty and disgusting people.
