Comment on: The KFConsole is real, and it boasts one big advantage over the PS5 and Xbox Series X | TechRadar
So it's already lightyears ahead of what the PS5 and xBox ever will be

Comment on: Welcome to the future
This is not merely a tech problem, but a consumer base problem. There are enough technologically ignorant consoomers who'd buy the latest iDoor just because of what it is, not even stopping for a second to think about the possible security implications (or, god forbid, invest time and effort into looking for safer, open source alternatives). So, while the above exist, companies will keep cutting costs and pumping out cheap garbage that 95% of their customer base will buy either way.

Give 3rd party, closed source software control over devices in your house that were never intended to operate under this model, and you'll pay the price.

Comment on: FreeDNS - A free DNS service that does not redirect you, and doesn't "misconfigure" certain domains such as archive.is
I can tell you for fact they forward IP to any of my sites just fine, not to mention countless client sites that I know for a fact receive 'Remote_Addr' and similar headers when testing them using those DNS.

> Because they do not forward client IP to archive This is malicious config on the part of the DNS providers then. They have no problem forwarding client IP to countless other domains, but for some reason Archive is an exception? Fuck them, then.

Then why are those the only 2 DNS providers not working with archive.is?

Comment on: /r/Mr_Trump has been banned
Certain quarantined subs still have decent memes. Also other alternatives to once funny subs, but those alternatives are only temporary, and linking them here would just speed up their decline.

Comment on: /r/Mr_Trump has been banned
>This subreddit was banned for violations of our Content Policy, specifically, for attempting to evade restrictions imposed on an existing Reddit community. In other words, they "got around" not having admin-selected mods like The_Donald has had for years now. Plus, it recreated the same formula The_Donald has had in the past, spreading the dankest of memes rather than being a boring echo chamber with a few old, tired memes repeated over and over again - a change that started shortly after the admins installed their mods, by the way. And of course, that would never be allowed.

Comment on: Banned from r/Firefox after a post about Mozilla banning Dissenter. No reason given.
On the up side, I'd never even hear about this extension if not for the ban wave.
