Comment on: Conservative social networks like Gettr and Parler keep making the same mistake
I've never understood why conservatives think the answer to Big Tech is more centralization whether its a centralized proprietary alternative or the government deeming them essential public platforms and regulating and monitering what they do. What we need is decentralization like Mastodon or Minds

Comment on: MyPillow CEO’s free speech social network will ban posts that take the Lord’s name in vain
No offense but I think this is a flop. He should stick to making an Amazon alternative.

Comment on: 'Open Source Initiative' Stops Collaboration With FSF Over Richard Stallman's Return
I hate to get political but am I the only one that hates these sort of people in the tech space? The tech space seems to be filled to the brim with authoritarians that want to push their worldview on others.

Comment on: Red Hat (IBM) pulls Free Software Foundation funding over Richard Stallman's return
Feel bad for Richard Stallman. On one hand, he says stupid degenerate shit about sex while also being a hardcore Bernie Bro that supports wokeness. On another, he started the whole movement and is literally the main driving force. The free software movement lost traction when he left.

Comment on: Parler users furious that site sent violent posts to FBI ahead of Capitol riot
What did they expect. It is literally Twitter but funded by big donor Republicans. They have poor privacy policies like the rest of Big Tech. Use an open source alternative like Minds.
