Comment on: Why I'm not a big fan of Scrum

Started with C++ in the nineties. Transitioned to Java early in 2001. Been looking for functional languages but since Java is slowly adding those features I'm not bothering anymore.
Swing was the ultimate GUI toolkit in its time, but JavaFX doesn't seem to be able to follow. We'll see.

That post was neither intelligent nor perfect.
Funny. I've been coding (with a very small team) for over ten years without any formal structure in place. If there's a feature that needs to be implemented we start working on it. No deadline, just an estimate that comes from experience.
Definately agile, but the monitoring is on a very broad level. We focus on solving the problem and not the process.
