Libre Office spreadsheets are underpowered, compared to Microsoft Excel, for intermediate-expert spreadsheet people. Add too much formatting (conditional or otherwise) and too much data, and it cannot cope. I use it anyway for small projects, just to keep my skills up, but not for anything that simply MUST work (taxes, for example). So my main computer runs Ubuntu, with a dual boot option for Windows.
