George Floyd is a martyred religious figure, COVID is picking off people left and right while the rest of us don't care, Kyle Rittenhouse lurks in every shadow waiting for black children to rattle their lunchboxes too loudly. If anybody tries to confront their irrational fears with statistics or a different perspective it immediately gets ripped down. It's insanity. On the bright side, acting like that in real life has consequences, so they can't really be that nuts in the end.
