Replying to the ban message isn't in itself stupid. Saying "Subjective banning?! Fuck that noise" is stupid. As is saying "Fuck off" when a mod asks you where it says we can't ban you over something subjective. Generally speaking, saying "Fuck off" when responding to a mod is a stupid thing to do unless you want to remain banned.

A) I didn't ban you, /u/StillUnderTheStars did. B) Me showing up here is no mystery. Like I explained, you were sending stupid modmail, so I checked your account history and found this post right at the top. Maybe you're confused about how modmail/ban messages work. If you respond to the ban message, it's sent as modmail, not as a PM to the mod who banned you.. The entire moderation team can see modmail, and I just happened to be the one to respond to your ban reply. C) Don't get the /r/bestoflegaladvice mod team confused with the /r/legaladvice mod team. I am part of the former, and we are quite separate. Obviously we each participate in the comments of each sub, but we are moderated separately. D) I have no idea whether or not you were banned from /r/legaladvice. But I don't really care if you were or not, since I'm not a mod there.

Your complaint is that we banned you for a subjective reason. There's nothing saying we can't do that. And no, we don't need to like your name, but we're also free to ban you for it if we feel like it.
