Legal ramifications are the least of Reddits concerns. Advertising ramifications are the top of their concerns. And surprise, platforms like Voat don't seem to get a ton of companies going: here's money, continue with your hate speech and general asshole behavior

Really. This is how life was pre Internet. People all live together. People get all stupid and segregate. Authority figures recognize: that's not really good as a whole for society. Don't do that. People either get the fuck over it or get ostracized. Majority of people shut the fuck up and move on. Small minority remain vocally ignorant of the progress of society, become outcasts. This is hilariously similar to Brown v. Board of Education to me.
