This is not a left nor right issue but more over a human issue, specifically when dealing with groups (sub Reddit’s). Group mentality rules, going against the grain will get you downvotes and saying something completely against the groups collective morals will get you banned! So no it’s not a left and right issue it’s just human nature and how it plays out in groups. For instance go to a PlayStation or Xbox sub and say something amazing about the rival platform. Left and right would assume political bias but going to one of those gaming subs to comment removed the political aspect, groups just don’t want to hear anyone’s opinion that doesn’t reinforce their own beliefs!
