I read that these auto bans for participation in a sub were a violation of Reddit rules. Did I imagine this?

They all happened to get ready right at the same time, after years investigating varied alleged crimes? Crimes which varied in complexity and alleged dates, and some of which allegedly occurred before he entered office?
