People who really want to be mods are usually those who want to feel important by having a little authority that doesn't matter at all. So they of course abuse said tiny authority. Saw it countless times playing online games. Ended up being pushed into being a mod on a game, and then was harassed by other mods for not banning people they didn't like or for taking a rule to serious. Like a rule about no drug names. Had a dude want to perma ban someone for having an obscure generic name for an OTC drug, even tho any sane person would realize it was meant for hard/illegal drugs.
