If you allow the government to keep banning "assault rifles" they'll eventually ban all semiautomatic rifles then handguns which also can hold 30rds and be fired at the same rate Someone can do the same or worse damage with a 45-70 lever action rifle which has been around since the 1800s. People aren't committing mass shootings at 200-300m, they're close range Which means any type of gun can inflict the same damage. This isn't a gun issue people, it's a sin problem.
