Comment on: I got banned from paganism because I had a silver amulet and asked questions about shadows
I’m very interested in hearing how you view socialism because I think we’re currently at a fork in the road.

No, I’m not. I went into political science and on top of that studied normal and political economics as part of the curriculum in college. Even without that anyone who understands any Marxist philosophy knows that. Socialism in practice has government involvement in economics.

Separation of state and economics would be a capitalist society which calls for a separation between the two. But a socialist system and furthermore a communist system both further unite economics and politics into one system.

Many of the members were reactionary. I’m talking about the ideals behind it that was fostered by people like Ron Paul and those who railed against the ACA and other big government policies that were being implemented in the first two years of the Obama years. That’s what I was comparing to Goldwater. And most went MAGA like you said. Very few people have seen or understand actual libertarianism. Definitely nothing viable in the US.

I use totalitarianism and authoritarianism interchangeably and Germany seems to have democratic socialism which isn’t pure socialism but a democratic system with socialist aspects. I would still argue there’s authoritarian aspects to it but not as much as pure socialism.

Tea Party is much more like a modern Goldwater conservative movement. But it’s not libertarianism.

Maybe they flipped. Try using the N word next time.

Because Marxism isn’t totalitarian at all 🙃

Oh, I agree with you. From certain perspectives, they’ll view your stance from their own bias. Most will see Ukraine joining NATO as a way of aggravating relations and bringing us closer to war and they tend to be against international organizations already. From that POV, they’ll misunderstand your actual point and see it as wanting war with Russia. But that’s due to jumping immediately from how they would view the outcome (like a possible war with Russia in this case, or “taking care of other nations”) rather than your actual point.

Comment on: 1) On a Christianity sub, the consensus was that Jesus was NOT White. 2) On a current Netflix show, Cleopatra is portrayed as Black. 3) I got banned from SeriousConversation for saying that the original Hebrews were Black.
You’re welcome, ok

Comment on: Libertarian subreddit isn't so libertarian
Mainstream Democrats have always supported that in power, just not in rhetoric. RFK Sr might’ve represented the old school liberal spirit but in practice the mainstream was always somebody like LBJ who put us in a war, Truman who created the CIA, and others who strengthen the authority and power of the government. And most of Bush’s big brother and pro war policies had bipartisan support. The difference is today they no longer use the rhetoric unless they’re trying to paint opposition as bad.

The meme isn’t praising Russia. It’s more about how threat is the wolf already in the hen house, not the giant bear down the street.

Libertarians don’t believe in public infrastructure. They believe in private infrastructure. And “taxation is theft” pretty much sums up the average libertarian.

You shouldn’t have been banned and you should absolutely vote third party or not at all compared to voting Biden.

If someone were to cheer on Osama bin Laden, it would be vile, but not illegal. At least not in the US, don’t know where you live.

Your teachers really shouldn’t be teaching. Jesus was Hebrew. Basically look at Jewish people who stayed in the region. Sephardic and Mizrahi Jews tend to be darker than ashkenazi Jews. Than maybe a little dark or lighter. Same ethnicity in the same region. Skin color would be similar to those in the Mediterraneans rather than South Africa.

Comment on: I actually won an appeal..
I was talking about voters and non politician people. Almost all of Congress backs Israel with very few on the left who opposes. Off the top of my head, a few repubs like Massie are fighting against the aid package to Israel but that’s more non interventionism and less spending than it is taking a side in the conflict.

Kennedy denounced the DNC and left the Democrat party already

Honestly, I’m debating between Trump or Kennedy. Things I like and dislike about Trump. Same with Kennedy. Very much despise Biden and have since before his presidency. No, you’re not a bot. Bots support the leftists. Especially since Putin just announced he hopes Biden wins reelection.

There’s a growing group of people to the right that are turning anti-Israel because they believe the Mossad has their hands in a lot of issues the US gets involved in and conspiracies that involve families of Jewish descent. Still a minority but it’s growing.

Plain terrorism would be actually committing or aiding the acts. He came out in support of Israel even if it was in a trolling way. Not terrorism, still free speech.

I’m pro life (pro choice in some cases) but pro choice is absolutely valid in libertarian thought. Most libertarians are pro choice.

I don’t see how this is even anti-libertarian. Sure, most libertarians won’t support it and they’re all non interventionist and anti war. But they’re also supposed to be the free speech absolutist compared to conservatives and liberals.
