Comment on: /r/coronavirus censors an author highlighting the inherent flaws in covid-19 testing, even though the author backs his assertions with reason and cited evidence.
Worst subreddit.
Started out great when covid first started, had good information, stats and articles. I remember being impressed at how diligent articles would remove political comments and articles on both sides of rhe spectrum as they were not helpful. Then within about two months as the popularity grew there was a quick shift. Most articles are framing and blaming whomever they can on the right. And every second article is a celebration of a person catching or dying of covid (ie: preacher who said God would take care of covid DIES FROM COVID)

That sub started out pretty strong, they would remove overly political comments and posts but once everyone started subscribing it got overrun and now it's just another r/politics

Comment on: r/vancouver claims that they do not allow new users to post before a multi month approval process which is not mentioned in their rules and I know this to be false. I pointed this out and they muted me. No reason given, no discussion.
For the sake of austerity

This is true. It is important t to keep in mind that just because the sub is called r/Alberta or r/whatevercanadiancity, doesn't mean it's an official representation of anything. All it means is some dipshit thought of making the sub first, and they are always predominantly liberal as reddit is. I'm a centrist and sympathize with a lot of liberal points aside from the fact that they need to control public opinion to the point of censorship and not being able to even consider anything aside from their own opinion. Anyways I digress. The point is official city subreddits are usually garbage to push a political POV

Comment on: A sub documenting "Racism Against White People" just got banned because... well, it's not ok to notice racism I guess.

Comment on: /r/news mods remove a rule-abiding post with no explanation, then ban me after I politely ask why the post was removed. Quality moderating at its finest.
Yeah very liberal bias at r/news, terrible mods who are paid off to suppress independent and opposing thought.

Yeah no doubt. That was such an obvious fake.
