Yeah I found this exceptionally overreaching because it's not just trying to control the narrative to be left leaning. Their trying to control the left narrative itself. Level of gun reform is probably one of the most not universally agreed upon things in the party itself. The motherfuckers literally trying to make it look like all democrats are anti gun.
