Comment on: SpaceX has a month to prove Starlink is worthy of rural broadband funding
Yep I'm currently using Comcast because it allows me to get a direct WAN IP on my router via bridge mode whereas AT&T doesn't. It's absolutely garbage and there are multiple outages daily. I'm lucky if I get half of the advertised speeds. I'm hoping Starlink will also provide a bridge mode feature so users can get direct WAN IPs.

If they can provide upload speeds at around 100mbps on the gigabit tier I'd definitely be interested. AT&T Fiber is available in my area at $50/mo for symmetrical gigabit but I think this would be pretty awesome to have.

I think I'll start using ungoogled chromium soon because it generally removes these stupid changes

I really wish this was a thing. Internet in the US is so overpriced.
