Yep, you are a separate entity, dependent on society. It is as simple as that. Society will cast you out, or at the very least, ban you on reddit, if you go against it. That is the price you pay. That isn't what moving the goal posts is. Yes we live in societies, which are communities, that aren't made up. You have every right to not want to associate, and society has every right to call you an asshole. That is the funny thing about rights, they protect you from the government, not from people or businesses. Those things are called laws. If you want to care about what other people do, but pretend not to, that is your business, but there are social consequences.
