Cops get tazzed, pepper sprayed. Hurts like hell but once over they are fine. Much like waterboarding. attendees of SERE camp in navy seals must be waterboarded to undergo the stress of interrogation if captured. This means many of our own troops are "tortured" according to you

Not talking about SA. about US. many people come out of with mental discomfort. They've been locked up for years. Its natural. >waterboarding are going to be incomparable. How so? Of course waterboarding is more intense. But what warrants the subject to have prolonged mental suffering even well after they are done with the procedure ? Cops get tazzed, pepper sprayed. Hurts like hell but once over they are fine. Much like waterboarding. attendees of SERE camp in navy seals must be waterboarded to undergo the stress of interrogation if captured. This means many of our own troops are "tortured" according to you

The problem is what you say is "mental problems" is different than me. Yours is so light weighted that even US prisons are considered torture. I hope this shows you what I'm talking about when I say youre mistaking mental pain and suffering with basic discomfort

>Can you just do yourself a favour, and instead of just making up random facts .Youre on the internet, you have no excuse whatsoever for this level if ignorance. Gotta be one of.the most pretentious and patronizing replies. Read the rest of the comments "you have no excuse whatsoever for this level if ignorance."

So you think we should we ban holding people in cages since It might cause long term mental issues?

>The rest of the world thinks it is You can't keep going back to this point. Without any explanation saying _____ says so, is not valid! > Repeatedly drowning Its not drowning. The sensation is similar. But to say we are drowning people is exaggerating the activity

Its flawed logic. Its not am argument. And pointing out the difference between the two proves that its not an argument.but an opinion. Much like how you say "I apparently have the humanity and critical thinking" The rest of the world does ______ thus US should do ______

So your analogy of "the rest of the world does ___" is only valid when you want it to be. Hypocritical

No, my argument is that it isn't torture and I gave you a consice explanation. Now, instead.of refuting you just call me an extremist because you disagree with me

so you are saying that being waterboarding in a normal room causes ptsd? how? it hurts during it but afterwords you are completely fine. think of surgery or getting a tooth pulled. it hurts bad during it. the dentist is smashing your face in, you smell the smoke of the tools burning. vibrations. you are in pain. but afterwards, you are all okay. does that cause PTSD? no, because once it is over, there is no prolonged pain. same with waterboarding. after it is over youre completely healthy and it is just fine. moreover, in legal code "Suffering" only occurs for "a protracted period of time", and the duration of waterboarding is not "protracted" enough" and in addition, "Military SERE trainees do not experience "negative long-term mental health consequences" during training by fellow military. Therefore real prisoners in real interrogations can't be expected to experience long-term mental health consequences either."

> in some dirty ass room in Guantanamo in order to make your statement true you even had to add this in to help your case. take away your conditions. your dirty cold room in guantamo, being locked up, cold temps. being captured would cause PTSD, does that mean we cant capture people else it would be torture? you are using the idea of containment as proof that the activity of waterboarding is torture

> How do you know you don't experience mental anguish? because military personal have stated this, that you may feel pain DURING the activity and mentally feel like you are drowning, and physcially suffer. but after words, you dont have prolonged mental or physical pain, unless the operation is done by some idiot at home and actually gets water in your lungs. >Regardless Trump still says he wants to bring back worse than waterboarding. once again this means nothing until we know what it is. taking the premise that waterboarding isn't torture what is worse than that? well it can be something worse but still not torture

>users of the_donald don't own Reddit of course they dont i never said they did and never tried to "refute it" >they can't prevent Reddit's staff from enforcing its rules? never said they could either. and idk your point. You said people who support Trump dont have a right to make a subreddit and make their rules for their subreddit. I proved to you that they do have that right via the basic rules of reddit and the basic concept of reddit altogether

> Lmao what exactly entitles Trump supporters to a safe space on a website that isn't theirs. Websites are property, not a public service. idk what your replying about but you said the above statement. what entitles Trump supporters to have a subreddit for only trump supporters? the fact that people can make subreddits themselves and set rules to them. thats why T_D is allowed to ban people post comments against Trump.

subreddits are run by moderators who can ban people who disobey their own rules. #1 rule was to be a trump supporter. How don't you understand this?
