The history of the swastika is so fascinating. It's really sad how it was turned into a symbol of hate, because I can see both why it is censored often, and why it shouldn't be. It's just a sad/depressing situation with no perfect fix. Not trying to justify them (IMO not worth a ban but removing the post perhaps) but I find this to be an interesting topic given the Swastika's history prior to the Nazis.

Honestly as long as the Hummus is creamy and not gritty or lumpy I couldn't care less where it came from.

Exactly this. I feel like I was forced out of the far left because they became so un-liberal. Suddenly a group that has historically been trying to push for gay rights, for appropriate restrictions on companies, and fighting climate change, only seems to care about being anti-West.
