Reddit was so so so much better before t-d existed. 7 years ago it was a site mostly populated by nerds and those interested in science and technology. It's evolved since then, and gone through many "upheavals" - it will still exist after the Donald fans leave and/or grow up... like I get it, it was fun to pretend to be interested in the occult and other "internet subculture" related things when I was growing up, and I get that it's nice to have a community that makes you laugh and feel like part of something bigger, but yeah, I imagine at least 1/3 - 1/2 of the users who post in the Donald will eventually come to realize that taking part in that whole thing might've seemed really cool and rebellious and important, but that it's really just ugly and dedicated to helping those who feel powerless to feel like they have some little power in this big scary world. The other ones won't, and they're the kind of people that the other ones will run across on Facebook and be like "wow that dude peaked hard in high school" and then laugh to themselves that they ever thought that was cool. Bitch, bitch, bitch! Good god, get over it, nobody will care about your all's internet hissyfit in a year, let alone a month. Get over yourselves.
