Reddit is a propaganda site. You gotta just read the news and stuff you enjoy, ignore the propagandists, and avoid the mod propagandists by not posting the wrong views.

Yeah, I think there are legit reasons to ban people. Like clear harassment, threats, stalking, and that sort of stuff. But not being banned for offending someone is the foundation of freedom of speech. And I think a supermajority of reddit mods are of the mindset that some things should not be allowed to say. But that mindset is exactly why we criticize other countries for not having the freedom of speech ideal. So then we become not only lacking in freedom of speech but also full of hypocrisy. Anyway. Thank you for standing up to an ideal.

I’ve been censored by a few subs just for expressing negative views of gay and Muslim politics. Politics means there is more than one way or side. If I express negative views of conservatives, I may get an argument, but no censorship yet.

It’s dependent on context. If I’m sitting next to a Muslim in a restaurant, I’m not gonna get upset. If they’re demanding sharia law in some city somewhere, and trying to overthrow the secular leader with US weapons, then kill em all!

A lot of reddit mods are modern day ministry of propaganda. They’ve got no problem with censorship and propaganda, because they feel their positions are the correct ones, and want to steer everyone else that way.

Reddit has been infiltrated by the Deep State. It’s definitely got an agenda and will ban you if you have certain views. Thought control is pretty blatant.

reddit is banning a lot these days. Either the political climate has angered the left so much that they are censoriing everyone who does not conform, or the US government reddit guys are banning positions contrary to government policy.

I think the US government is super active on reddit these days. I've gotten banned in about 3 subreddits recently, while the last 6 years, I only got banned from 2 total, including worldnews once for saying I didn't like Muslims.

It’s American leftists. I don’t side with left or right in America, because they’re more partisan and lacking true ideals. But I find people on the American left just as intolerant as people on the American right. On reddit, the American left is just more populous, so you get crazy censorship.

I worked on a project with Saudi nationals, and supported Muslims for awhile. But the PC crowd, particularly mods with r/worldnews, has turned me against Muslims. When you can't say 1 bad thing about anyone, then the resentment builds up, and you begin to see every bad thing about them. Then you lose your tolerance.
