I was referring more to things like what a person really looks like when they're drowning. And fencing response. Things I would never have learned about elsewhere.

Came searching looking for the same thing. It's the only reason I ever came on Reddit. I had to find out from a fucking BuzzFeed article that it was gone. That offends me even more than the sub itself being gone. All of the other sites have the worst of humanity in the comments. WPD was a great community. I have no reason to come to Reddit anymore but where do I go now? WPD was the most excellent source of information to get breaking news. Everytime something big happened I went to that sub because you could find up to date information from news sites around the world. And the medical information I learned there was excellent too. This just sucks.
