I respectfully disagree that observing what someone else does means you endorse their actions. Personally, violent videos have taught me a lot about the extremes of human nature and made me a more well informed person when it comes to reality, for better or for worse. I do agree there are fucked up people who get off on snuff. But that fact shouldn't prevent the public at large from having access to documentation of such acts. Whether or not reddit as a private company is under any obligation to host such documentation is of course another argument as you've already pointed out.
