For how long is the ban? For ever? I personally think that things such as this measure don't do anything good but to open the gap in the world and generate more hate. You could find dozens of daily submissions on wpd of massacres and assassinations and what not in any third world Muslim and non Muslim country but as something happens in New Zealand or affects the first world directly is the end of the world and everything is terrible and must be banned. And I'm not talking only about reddit admins but population of first world countries in general. When you overhear about al shabab or Isis or some random terrorist group killing dozens on a car bomb attack in some part of Africa or Middle East you don't give a fuck but as soon as some random guy hits some pedestrians with a car in Europe or anything a fraction as big as the terror attacks that happen in the third world daily takes place on any first world country the 'Pray for Paris/London/NZ' profile pictures start to appear. We have the fucking world we deserve
